I want to ask, before watching this whole video, can you tell me what the outside to outside width of the frame rails are on that SCX10? Axial doesnt state it. I have an idea and im trying to figure out some dimensions.

Traxxas is so clueless when it comes to the micro world. not for nothing but that is now a VERY expensive FCX24 LOL for the price of a TRX4m with the portal kit and 2 speed kit. you can get an FCX18 with a furitek brushless system and an upgraded servo and still have a few dollars left for a spare lipo.

I painted the light bar led lights ford 79 truck amber testors 4 coats to darken lights from a yellow to orange. Allow to dry. Looks great.

This is actually really, really interesting. With the motors on the axles, that's got to be some kind of revolution in unsprung, low down weight, especially helpful with the portals. I've never heard of anyone else doing this before. I do have to wonder about aftermarket electronics, though. What are we looking at here? Two ESCs? I wonder how the dig works, if there's another servo disconnecting something at the rear axle or if the motor itself just doesn't turn at all. If it's the latter then the ESC situation must really be something nonstandard. I'm genuinely intrigued, and the price point is out of this world for what we're getting here, even if not everything is great. The tires need some attention, and the shocks could probably stand to be upgraded even with something like a better RTR shock like from a TRX4 or an Enduro or whatever. I hope high clearance links are coming or it's possible to use something made for another truck on this one. And I haven't even talked about the four wheel steer. I didn't see in the video, I might go back and look to see if I can spot it, but I wonder if they have the steering behind the axle, or in front of it for the rear. If they do then that would be wild. Probably not with the motors being there, but still.
